Lived in both states, technically Kansas City is half in Missouri, half in Kansas. There's a Kansas City, KS and a Kansas City Missouri. Living in Missouri and Kansas, it always appeared to me that fans throughout the state of Kansas were way more diehard than Missouri fans. You can find them in every corner of the state. Also, Missouri has the St Louis Rams so easy to see why anyone would get confused. Also, the team IS called the KANSAS City Chiefs. If Trump had congratulated Missouri, people still would have bitched that Kansas wasn't given credit. This is yet another symptom of Trump Derangement Syndrome, but Kansas really should consider getting their own team instead of leeching off Missouri.
