I don't allow my kids to watch half time show or commercials. We set timer and turn on music while we throw pizza down our food holes. Son says I want to watch, and I say, it sucks and you will have to go find it online later. He said why, I said, because creative events are made by people who do not like Trump and I do not want them using their evil on us while we are all here having a nice time. Kid was a little confused but said, so you dont want to watch leftists. I said yes.

mine are older, and we have been through that phase, and they are grown into properly well-informed MAGA patriots, and now sometimes we get bored in the car because we all find the devil payola music evil and terrible... so it will get really quiet, and then my oldest will say, "Let's do some opposition research!" and turns on NPR, and we all just groan and roll our eyes and I yell at Mary louise kelly and we have fun with it.
While I agree with this in principle, I think it would be more constructive to de-construct the Leftist messaging in the adverts rather than ban viewing them, and having your kid seek them out online without any adult guidance.
I'm good at deconstructing (noticing) the media's agenda now, but even learning this stuff as a teenager in the 1990s I had no fucking idea. I used to get A's in English class which was the only subject that touched on critical theory. If you allow the signal to get too entrenched in the boy you'll end up with a chronic lefty if they ever go to college. And the longer it permeates, the harder it is to ever turn them back.
