I've tried a dozen keywords that I see right on the page, and it always comes up "no results were found." This needs a fix, please.

Search was working right up around the time activists started a ‘cancel culture’campaign of searching Twitter, Reddit, etc. to dox, deplatform, and harass thought leaders standing in the way of their narratives, so presumably it was disabled to combat that effort.

But consider some other relevant factors:

-Locating counter-narratives to the widespread leftist propoganda push on any given issue is increasingly difficult through search engines. At best, one must wade through an haystack of BS to find the needle of good information, and realistically, the top search options actively censor and obscure those sources.

-Most popular conservative websites have clumsy search interfaces, limitations to exact keywords, or no search options at all.

-Social media posting and other types of peer-to-peer influencers are shadowbanned, censored, and suppressed using other techniques that greatly diminish the chances of good information being exposed through natural ‘economy of ideas’ sharing

-Free speech sites like the chans are under constant cyber-attack and content disruption campaigns, and are often blacklisted by the network policies at access points. Search tools for these type of sites often become nonfunctional as attacks and response mitigation change apis and access.

-When voters and citizens seek answers while researching issues, this site may be among the only few places to find relevant information that counteracts mainstreamed narratives. Scattershot sources unavailable by searches will limit a casual seeker of truth or opposition-views to ‘simplistic’ headlines, opinions, memes, incomplete arguments that reduce to mere slogans, endlessly repeated, atomized bits of information that lose coherence, or thought-provoking puzzles that imply rather than prove or persuade.

-Leftist activists already have insider access to tech functions, search tools, and Silicon Valley organizational processes that could make disabling the search option a useless defense against the cancel campaign.

-Moderation decisions generally have the opportunity to toss obvious chaff away while leaving good arguments and debate and showcase the MAGA community engagement in a unique way unavailable at ‘strict free speech’ sites, editorial blog comments, thought-censored Reddit, thought-bubbled and ‘boomered’ facebook groups, suppressed Twitter, or MSM-article-aggregators like Drudge or Bongino Report.

These points are made as an informational logical exercise, not as an attempt to raise an admin issue, make a mod appeal, promote ‘protest,’ or encourage any breaking of site rules.

Thanks for the thorough explanation! All quite valid.
