I read the story. There is no privilege whatsoever claimed in it. There's more detail about his ancestry that I need to know, but no evidence that he or anybody else is being treated differently.
Brand-new user with a racist agenda, or just to make us look bad?
If the perp and the photo are the same person, it’s hard to believe this man is Native American. The fact is, it looks like this person was awarded the privilege of avoiding his color when being described as a suspect.
It’s not an accident and if the perp was white there would have been no dancing around his whiteness. If someone says be on the lookout for a Native American man, It’s reasonable to assume nobody would give this dude a second look.
