So, I'm a self described permabear, but we've had people, like Bill Maher, tell us that they are hoping for a recession to get Trump out of the White House.
With a dovish Federal Reserve and a booming economy, there needs to be a black swan event to crash the world economy.

No one can blame him for it. All he needs to do is react to the crisis appropriately, as I'm sure he will. If people try to blame him then, they'll only look more desperate and insane.
But now is the perfect time to decouple completely from China. Almost like it was planned...
