Count me as part of the unpopular minority who don't believe that Julian Assange is any sort of hero.

He oversaw a clandestine information gathering and distribution network which danced very close (allegedly) to being a criminal conspiracy at times.

Julian Assange was a poker player who played the game betting other people's money.

This doesn't mean that I believe Julian Assange is not innocent until proven guilty and entitled to full due process under the law.

I think he meant well, his mistake was attempting to be bi-partisan with the left. A lot of leftists backstabbed him, as they always do.
