You're lucky you didn't see Ed and Brian Krassenstein. They trolled every single tweet and were always at the top. Thankfully they both got permanently banned for using a bunch of fake, sock puppet accounts. I'm sure the people you mention are as artificially inflated as they were, these guys are their replacements.
