Sad as it is to admit, if Mr. Paul had been born more butch, a foot talker and wider of chest, I have no doubt he'd be president by now. Seriously, one foot higher up and buff. He just....doesn't have any one thing that stands out that he can run on. His policies are smart, common sense, not flashy. He's sharp and witty but no Donald J Trump. He's not hideous but he's not eyecatching. He'd be one of the best presidents, I think. But, will probably never get elected simply because he always seems to be in the shadow of flashier, more strikingly attention-grabbing candidates.
For me it wasn't Senator Paul's physical appearance - and he was my first choice in the first primary debates - it was that he lacks a forceful personal charisma to transmit his message.
In the end I voted for the guy with a "shock and awe" personality. And I haven't regretted a day since.
