He's off base, of course, regarding Trump and the election. A handful of Russian trolls had a miniscule effect compared to Google and Facebook overall.

But he's right about how social media influences behavior. The irony is that he doesn't acknowledge how media in general is part of the same system - or that it has heavily influenced him as well.

His focus on th Skinner Box an etc makes me wonder about these platforms getting paid for more than advertising and data, if you know what I mean
