After snow falls and hits the ground how and where does it acquire it's weight/mass from? I mean if 8 inches of snow fell and you went and shoveled it instantly you'd plow right through it with little effort, but after a day or two it's more than tripled itself in weight. How? Meltage/water? Doesn't make sense, it should actually weigh less shouldn't it? being some of the run off has seeped into the ground. Idk It's just bugging me and I can't even get an Answer out of Google lol

is this the same snow that doesnt melt when held to fire? or regular snow?

Lol yeah there is something wrong with our snow huh? Also How come it doesn't fall in the form of unique beautiful snowflakes anymore? Has anyone really looked at snow lately?
