I can understand why the judge remains p-o'd with Flynn. The judge tried to get to the bottom of this mess when he took up responsibility for sentencing. Flynn did not co-operate with the judge, and his counsel did not raise the issue of exculpatory evidence.

I also very well understand that Flynn was cornered and badly advised by his then-counsel, who had a conflict of interest.
The judge may let Flynn off, and maybe he should, but it will only be after a very thorough sifting of the facts.
