If the event participation numbers are correct the Virginia capital will be protected by the largest standing Army in Virginia by the most law abiding portion of the populace.

There are just over 2k State Troopers in Virginia. I don't think that is enough to impose the Governor's will on gun owners. The rally is a gentle reminder the people should be heard.
