How anyone looks at the state of the country and goes, yep, the government is totally capable and worthy of trust and respect. More of THAT, please!" I have no idea. Local politics is one thing as you can shoo them out the door quicker if they fuck up. Federal? No, not really. All they do is send our money overseas and get kickbacks for their family.
