Insanity is self destructive. Unfortunately it tends to take everything around it with it, so we must all be on guard. Nevertheless, insane people do not last long without support and protection from themselves, usually in the form of some type of institutionalization. These people, though they should be, are not institutionalized. They should not last much longer. And so we wait. And wait. And wait.
