We must realize that the TDS base is not mature enough, nor educated properly, in their responsibility to honor the results of an election in a constitutional republic that fosters a strong democratic tradition. Maybe we should discuss a red flag law on the right to vote? Just like what they want to do with guns and cars?

I never thought I would think like this but I'm no longer in letting everyone have a vote. At least you must be a minimum IQ. You need to show some level of maturity and inclusion in society like having worked a steady job for a couple years, paid federal taxes, never lived for years on welfare, show that the government isn't raising your kids. You need to show that you are a stable adult with a functioning brain in order to vote (or military service). It sort of goes back to the old way of "landowners only". I don't want it to be extreme but I dont want every dumbfuck 18 year old in this country to lazily votefor what is popular in the media just because they got a driver's license. Pure democracy is not ideal but seems to be the direction the left want to go.

Voting used to be a privilidge afforded to those who had a stake in the country (i.e. property owners, eligible to be drafted).

Now its a right given to everyone (except men who still have to register for the draft but that doesn't mean anything anymore)
