Because that is the way they operate. It is integral to their approach. They MUST suppress and destroy speech and association because their philosophy is based on lies. Force, censorship, and suppression is the primary weapon of all fascist and communist groups, and Hollywood has been formally enlisted in their effort. They must make it appear that they are in the majority and images like the one of Vince Vaughn sitting with the president cannot be tolerated. Dissent, whether in he USSR, North Korea, Cuba, or the American left, simply will not be allowed. That is their mindset.

seeing him touch the GEOTUS gives them a more visceral reaction that causes the TDS impulses to travel from their point of origin at the brain stem to the "frontal lobes" of their guppy minds. This creates in them a sense of immediacy that then converts the TDS into hatred, and send the impulse back to the brain stem, where it manifests in the urge to grab a bike lock and start pounding skulls.

I only put it in quotes because I'm not sure all of them have functional frontal lobes.
