The fires wouldn't be so bad even with the lack of clear cutting and controlled burning if those idiots hadn't imported Eucalyptus and planted it everywhere. They did that about a hundred years ago and now all the trees are mature so when they burn they explode and spread highly flammable natural oils which makes the fire worse. So in one tiny way the Communist climate alarmists are right and we should blame oil: Eucalyptus Oil!

This is the same reason Australia is burning to the ground right now. Eucalyptus is everywhere.
