I got the first inkling of this when Tom Daschle's bunch in the Democrat Party decided to 1) vote to go to war in Iraq and then 2) ride the war in Iraq all the way to the White House.

In my view, they somehow managed to make a deal with the Devil, with terrible results.

The Democrat Party at the national level, and its captive media sound like the lost souls in Dante's second circle of Hell, blown by this wind and that.
