I still like Matt. The strong anti-war "isolationist" side of the party has a lot of support in the heartland, and it's good that Trump continues to see the alternative to endless war pushed by neocon and neolib alike.

The pushback against escalation from people Trump respects arguably had an effect on Trump. I like to think he supports withdrawal and is continuing to play the deep state through all of this. In that sense, he may actually agree with the sentiments of the resolution: war should be a national endeavor, always.

We've had enough military adventurism, even if some of the presidents have been or are good ones. The deep state is always behind this shit, and all checks on that power are good ones.
