Suburban Detroit is very, very rude... as well as teeming with organized crime and a serious drug and alcohol addiction problem. It is like a mini San Francisco, everything is overpriced and the people have crushing commutes due to sprawl.

Not as bad as Atlanta or Dallas, but don't expect your driver to be on time when business takes you there. The roads are bombed out and planned by incompetents/corrupt officials, thousands of miles of crumbling concrete roadways, poured by mafia controlled unions.
