Seeing how Australia got in this situation in the first place, I'll go against the current and assume many of those arrested for "arson" are sane people who tried maybe to save their farms or properties by doing controlled burns. Because if we're talking eco-terrorists, it would not make the press.

Unfortunately bushfire arson has been around in Australia for a long time, you also never burn back in summer because all it takes is a single ember caught by the wind and you have a disaster.
