The Iranians want the Democrats back in power in the US. They miss their pallets of cash, the Iranian nuclear deal and all that jazz. They are trying everything they can to pull Trump into another pointless conflict in the middle east. They think that by doing this Trump will lose support of his base as he ran an anti war campaign. Everything Iran has done over the last 2 years or so has been designed to pull Trump into a conflict to try to get him to lose re-election. That being said I won't say democrats have anything to do with it, I wont say this is exactly what Pelosi wants (read through this comment section, we are a united front yet this is dividing us) but I will say if I found out they were pushing Iran to these measures you really couldn't imagine my shock
