This is what's known as sociopathic behavior. A complete lack of empathy or care about other human beings, because they are not seen as fellow human beings. They are less than human because they don't share his views, so it's ok to do anything to the people in the retirement home. Even if it's just hyperbolic talk, this asshole needs an ass whipping to show there are rules to living in a civilized society, and talking shit like that is unacceptable behavior.
