I think it would be great for he White House to contact this man, and see if he would be amenable to being mentioned or receiving an award. He is a hero, who acted quickly and saved several lives, at a bare minimum, and maybe many lives. If he wants to maintain his privacy, or as much of it as possible, I'm sure the President would honor his wish.

But yes, I'd love to see him honored, or even better, be a guest at the State of The Union Speech coming up in early February and be acknowledged there.
