I disagree. China is not a source of innovation. China is about IP theft, cheap labor, and an ant colony style existence for its people. They can build things with their abundant population of near-slaves, but not really originate new ideas and technology. China can be shut down hard if the west got serious about industrial espionage and outsourced manufacturing.
