Anyone hear of the rumor that Obama struck a deal with McConnell to leave the Supreme Court vacancy unfilled? Supposedly Obama didn't want Garland to be confirmed because Obama wanted Hillary to nominate Obama himself to the Supreme Court. The Republicans had nothing to lose by stalling the Garland confirmation on the off chance that Trump won.
Installing Obama as a Supreme Court Justice would like putting Satan in charge.
