I was paying $1450 per month for shitty silver plan for my wife and two kids. Insurance company sends me a letter saying my premium will increase like 34% in the new year, up to $1875 per month. That's $22,500 per year. For shitty insurance, just to cover the fucking premiums. I was making 110k - 120k at the time, living in California. My mortgage for a 1,500 sq foot house is $3,200 per month = 38k per year plus property taxes. 30% of my income going to State and Federal taxes. 36k goes to the Government per year. Between taxes and health care, that accounted for 50% of my income. The mortgage accounted for 80% of my income. Plus fucking sales tax on everything. That left me with 25k to pay for everything else during the year. The goal of Obamcare was to completely hollow out the middle and upper middle class. Create a class of elites and the poor. This was the introduction of socialism under the guise of "healthcare".

My cousin inherited a million dollars, owns his house outright. Never held a real job, and just has some rubber stamp business that makes no money. He very arrogantly told me he gets $12,000 a year for his Obamacare health insurance ... because that is how the country works, the rich help pay for the less fortunate. I pay $15,000 a year for my insurance and am helping fund my sloth-like lazy ass loser cousin who now has no reason whatsoever to get a real job.
