I don't know about you but I know Jesus was just fine with arms. By the time it came for his arrest in the garden when he told his disciples to sell their clothes and buy a sword to protect themselves they were already carrying three swords between them. So misguided people want to tell me that when Jesus said "he who lives by the sword will die by the sword" is a call to lay down all arms but right up to that point, through out his entire ministry he was just fine with his disciples carrying around weapons? But oh no to be a proper Christian I just have to lie down and take the kicks? Screw that, and happy birthday Jesus!
he who lives by the sword will die by the sword"
meaning is clear Don't be the aggressor
nothing against self defense preemptive or other wise in gods teachings

Except for that one time that Jesus himself attacked people violently with a weapon, a non-lethal weapon to be true, for a good cause right.
