In my city where pot is legal, you can not get a business license for selling pot unless you are a minority. I heard that directly from a piece of shit government worker who was proud of that, telling it to another self-hating white liberal who was exclaiming how great that was.

Knowing that, then it's certainly true that this same city withholds licenses and permits for all sorts of things unless you are a minority. No complaints about this would get any traction, because everyone in charge is on the same page.

I'm always amazed how Democrats can watch The Wire and not be convinced that all cities run exclusively by democrats are corrupt.
