As the subject of a King, you are effectively his property as a "subject." The King can do whatever he wants with his property. If you are a Subject, then you are at the King's mercy. If he doesn't suffer you to live, you die.

This is completely legal under the laws of the Kingdom. When that moron went back onto Saudi territory (which is precisely what a consulate is) knowing that the Kingdom wanted him dead, or at least silenced, he made a fatal mistake.

I've never understood this whole controversy. Don't be the subject of a King is my best advice to avoid situations like this. That's why we had a revolution 243 years ago.
