Incandescent is better. It produces a better glow. We have LED streetlights and if you’re not adjusted to them (for instance if you just got back from camping) you can see how harsh of a light it truly is.

you can tell in xmas lights. any xmas light that is "white" that emits that ugly steel blue hue is immediately deported.

When we traveled through Wyoming when I was younger, which was often, my step mom always got migraines from the sulfur lights. The areas around Gillette and Sundance had them everywhere. But I get it for the govt in the middle of nowhere. It makes sense.

False! That's what we in the industry now refer to as "Cool White." There's also "Warm White," which, when you buy a good brand, is nearly indistinguishable from traditional incandescent mini bulbs.

Now, I will grant you that it took them YEARS to manage to get White LED Light to be able to mimic incandescent bulb light. But now it's my go-to choice for everything from home lighting to Christmas. Head on down to your local Walmart, if they're as good as I am at the one I work at, they'll have Sample Boards hung up near their Christmas Lights, with samples of every kind and color of Christmas Light they have available. You'll be able to see Warm White just a small distance away from Incandescent, and tell for yourself.
