Let's be honest here, ALL of them are up to this kind of crap.

you should ban anybody standing for office that has never had a job outside public sector/service, ie, pick people that have had a real career, learned how to support themselves, etc etc.

I bet 90+% of congress/senate have this kind of scam somewhere.

So, term limits? Because people hate Congress, but love their Congressman (senator, mayor) ... as evidenced by the win percentage for sitting members.

Term limits: You get 12 years in Washington in Congress. Total.

Amendment: No person may serve more than 12 total years combined in the House or Senate. Senators are appointed by the state legislature for 8 years.

(so... you can be in the house for 6 terms or in the house for 2 and senate for 1; Senators are one and done and appointed by the legislature of the state... so win your damn state. )
