Impeaching a president should require extraordinary evidence of an extraordinary crime. The damage to Trump by this charade is negligible; the damage to the republic is immense. Imagine what it will be like when Democrats hold both houses. There needs to be a reckoning of sorts. A message to those who dare undermine the American Constitution and abuse their power. Otherwise, you have just witnessed the fall of the republic.

There's standards for evidence, procedural rules, the House Dems Just Chose to ignore them and spend their Political Capitol on the Shampeachment.

All it's really doing is waking the PEOPLE UP ! A wave of liberal tears is coming, when they realize how govt and how this particular impeachment is being run, when they realize that it's NOT removing even the lint from the president's pocket, they will freak, and maybe figure out how legal stuff works.

Politics is Messy, Things take time to come to light, and even longer for airtight legal remedies to Grind thru the Law breakers.
I hope it eliminates the Notion of Bi-partisanship governing, and the restricting idea of civility and Political correctness for a long while. The Dems have never met the standards they proclaim the GOP must meet. Time to Ignore them !
