Impeaching a president should require extraordinary evidence of an extraordinary crime. The damage to Trump by this charade is negligible; the damage to the republic is immense. Imagine what it will be like when Democrats hold both houses. There needs to be a reckoning of sorts. A message to those who dare undermine the American Constitution and abuse their power. The left has proven they do not need proof.
The Kavanaugh hearing is a great proof of this. Even Dr. Ford's father didn't believe her. Yet it doesn't matter as the media is on their side and bombards the public with the "correct opinion".
When the normies don't think beyond headlines, they'll believe anything because the media wouldn't lie and you're a conspiracy theorist if you disagree.
