Although I understand what you are trying to say, I think Trump knows exactly the extent of corruption. Trump doesn't do anything unless he knows he can win or be proven right. It might take a while for him to be proven right no something, but he doesn't half ass anything, and he doesn't take chances on something he doesn't know the result of before hand.
He is a fighter, and he won't back down. He may go easy on someone, but if they push too far, at some point, he comes back on them. 5 times harder.
