The only thing close is the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) that is being heard in the Supreme Court.
In the CFPB, a director can be removed by the president for inefficiency, neglect of duty, or malfeasance.
Not so with the SES. The President can't touch it. It too, will have to head to the Supreme Court and I believe Trump knows the court isn't strong enough yet.
I thought the goverment shut down would allow Trump to fire these assholes.
Research regarding the SES is absolutely shocking.
They claim to be a branch superior to the Executive Branch of our Government. So no, shutdowns won't kill them off.
Started by Jimmy Carter (to create communism, I suppose). It was not answerable to the executive branch, judicial branch or legislative branch.
Then came Barack Obama Executive Order 13714 titled “Strengthening the Senior Executive Service.” Wew lad! Read it if you can.
So an executive order can eliminate the ses can’t it?
It was created by the Jimmy Carter era congress.
