As a cop who can’t post on Reddit because people are always trying to doxx me..... I’m on board with the people on this one. I’m not going door to door to take your guns and most of the cops in the country have the same attitude.

The biggest problems gun owners face are the legislative efforts to pass red flag laws and other such “public safety risk” laws. Many states now have “extreme risk protection orders” or something to that effect. Basically your wife, co-workers, kids, uncle, or whoever, can call the police, claim that you’re dangerous, get in front of a judge, and pitch their “I’m afraid of him and he has guns” speech. That judge can, without any deliberation of a jury of your peers, issue an ERPO that requires you to surrender all firearms you own and bars you from buying new ones until your case is settled in court. Failure to comply is against the law. This sneaky shit is where they are going to get owners. Not kicking doors with the national guard.

Yes, and stupid red flag laws are what's going to lead to lots of people "disappearing" once some folks find out that they have exactly two options against a hateful, vengeful person who threatens to red flag them:

  1. "Disappear" the person who would red flag them before they can do so.
  2. The cops confiscate all their firearms forever.
Thanks, "victims" - you played yourselves.

"Failure to comply is against the law" is itself a violation of our Constitution and spits in the face of our rights. The system is wrong on this one. Cops should know that too. They should refuse to enforce orders that themselves are against the law. Gun owners have every right to fight back against anyone coming to their door with such an authoritarian, anti-American order.

Additionally, they do other shit to financially ruin you. Like issuing $1000/day fines before foreclosing on your property and threatening your employer, thus getting you fired.

Respectfully over 90% of the counties are with you. Trump can give new orders to the guard. There are not enough State Troopers to enforce.

Looks like the Governor can sign laws that don't mean sh*t. I look forward to resolving these issues in the courts.
