Birthplace of Texas Freedom, it is where we defeated the Mexican Army, revenging Goliad where the people refused to give up their single cannon with the famous 'come and take it' attitude placed on their flag.....revenging the Alamo where 186 men stood off thousands of Mexican regulars to buy time for Texas to grow an Army.
