According to The Expanse, the ferals are shipped to The Belt to mine ice and minerals. Mars became the conversative planet, which seems to be a reoccuring theme in sci-fi. The outfit I belonged to in PlanetSide 2 were the Terran Republic, which was a faction that wore all red (like Mars colors), inhabited desolate regions, and had a lot of conservative stances. The specific outfit I belonged to had a lot of IRL Vets. Seems to be a reoccuring theme.
The Expanse is funny in a weird way. The UN took over Earth and had basic assistance wage, because "there weren't jobs for everyone." Yeah, okay....?
I like the realism in that show but I haven't made up my mind about the politics yet. Some of it is cucked but there seem to be some redpills in there also.
