There is no denying the Armenian Genocide happened. The U.S. should have acknowledged it a long time ago. Every state (except maybe 1?) has acknowledged it. We need to get this resolution passed and behind us, despite the threats from Turkey. Bad timing? Maybe, but like I said: it should have been passed a long time ago. BTW, it was unanimous.

Don't buy into how the media is portraying this. Trump had the resolution delayed during the critical time when he was negotiating with Turkey over Syria. I seriously doubt that the vote would have been unanimous if Trump was seriously fighting against it.
