Pro-tip: people trying to physically harm you and making death threats at you should be immediately subdued and/or restrained using appropriate force while waiting for police officers. Allowing them to flee the scene or loiter without being restrained allows them to find a weapon and come back, pull out a weapon, or escape justice entirely. Make a citizen's arrest whenever possible before things escalate. If they resist your arrest, just give them physical reinforcement for compliance.
