You have to be careful because timing is critical, depending on the issue you wish to push. Before Trump replaced two SCOTUS judges, it would have been foolish to push any gun control issues. We are now starting to see the SCOTUS become interested in 2A cases, so we may finally have some serious movement on 2A concerns. Let's be patient and make sure we have a receptive SCOTUS before we push too hard. Once they rule, they are loathe to rescind.

The bus protests and boycotts would have accomplished absolutely nothing without the arrests of Lillie Mae Bradford, Claudette Colvin, Rosa Parks, Susie McDonald, Jeanetta Reese, Mary Louise Smith, and Aurelia Browder, resulting in the case of Browder v. Gayle being successful.
