She's just trying to control the narrative and needs to be first so MSM has the ammo to not talk about the IG report findings.

100%. Politics is won on offense. If you are on defense, you are losing. Both sides know this, both sides are trying to land offensive punches, first one to stop loses. Nancy and the dims know a big punch or two is coming, and they need to knock the opponent off balance best they can before it happens.
