Hear me out here. I'm in no way a racist or anything but looking at Tim Ryan's comments, I don't see anything wrong with what he said unless anyone could point it out for me and explain clearly. Tim Ryan didn't exactly call Jackson the N word or anything negatively. He actually made a positive comment about his skin color being helpful into camouflaging the ball for trick plays and such.
I'm deaf myself and have had a lot of interpreters dress appropriately for their job. How should they dress appropriately? If the interpreter is white, they should wear dark color clothes to contrast their skin color so we can see their hands clearly. The same goes for people with darker skin with lighter clothes. Ryan's comment made sense that because the ball is dark, the uniform is dark and his skin color is dark, he's actually camouflaging the ball well enough to trick players into thinking he doesn't have the ball.
Now onto the other issue I have here with that. Lamar Jackson was asked how he felt that he's closing in on breaking Michael Vick's record for rushing yards in a single season and he said it would be great as Michael Vick is his
favorite player.
Whoa whoa, hold the phone! Michael Vick?! The guy who was guilty for having dog fights at his home?! No one's berating Lamar Jackson for what he said? Wait... maybe it's because... ah never mind...
EXACTLY. There was nothing racist in what he said but we have a culture that is addicted to throwing out the race card. Also, Vick is a horrible person. I encourage everyone to read the government report about what was done to those dogs. Drowning them in paint buckets, hanging them with electrical cords from trees, using a rape stand for breeding the females...anyone who praises Vick is trash in my book, but of course the jock sniffers in the sports media never want to discuss the actual details of what he did.

Double Standard/Hypocrisy at its finest!

More ways to persuade people banning/censorship is the answer to every emotional offense.
If his comments lead to white quarterbacks darkening their hands the same color as the ball would It could be called “black hand”.
