GEOTUS won't make the deal now. He will wait until things get worse for Denmark, and they need the money. Then he will offer less than before, and they will take the deal. Time is on our side.

Denmark is part of the EU, which currently has a banking crisis, a currency crisis, a financial crisis, a demographics crisis, a trade crisis, a Turkey crisis, a Russia crisis, and a Ukraine crisis, as they drown in amber waves of refugees. Despite all that, they are focused on punishing the UK for not only leaving, but having the audacity to plan for the next day by discussing free trade deals with the US, Canada, Australia, India, and New Zealand.

The EU will collapse within 5 years, and take Denmark down with it. Then, they will be desperate to sell Greenland to us, so we can buy it for less money. Art of the Deal.
