I too, did not like it when Donald Trump Jr, hopefully our future POTUS, tweeted that he would give prizes for the (filmed) most triggered family leftist at Thanksgiving. Yeah, crazy lefty aunts may deserve a poke, but this is Thanksgiving dinner with the family, and we should be better than a crazy lefty and try to maintain cordial relations. Dropping gentle red pills, yeah. Lovingly defending , yeah. Trying to trigger over the turkey? No.
I feel much the same about my own personal conduct.
And at first I thought it a bad tweet thinking “sometimes we have to form the real connections- continue to build bonds with each other.”
Then I think about his life, and how much he now lacks the ability to detach - the attacks are against him and his directly. So while I would not do what he suggested, I also understand why he said it and empathize.
