The fear mongering in the lgbt community is true. I saw it first hand in graduate school and it is debilitating. A young lesbian woman I knew literally lived every single day of her life in fear. I felt so sorry for her, because she was also going through chemo therapy at the same time. She literally did not need that kind of negativity in her life.
