I think social media has made too many people too available too often. People don't spend enough time getting to know one another (courting) to allow meaningful relationships to form before they've "hooked up".

Anything easy to obtain is rarely cherished. I'm thankful for my wife. I knew her and was friends with her for 2 years before we even decided to date. And we didn't "Neflix and chill" for about 6 weeks after we were officially courting.
