~Feel free to discuss. I'm willing to be further educated.~ I joined T_D just before it hit 500 subs and I rode it out until this place (TDW) started. I marveled at T_D's success. I'm now almost 70 years old. And have been very active in political debate since Jr. High School. I learned something watching T_D grow. CENSORSHIP is necessary! I've never seen anything that has promoted liberty values like T_D. It was censored by Reddit, It was censored by our own mods. 1) The censoring by Reddit brought us together as a group. 2) And the censoring by our own mods increased the membership numbers of those under the MAGA tent by being inclusive to a widest diversity of people they believed possible. It was almost the perfect storm and lasted a long time. I give our own mods (and Trump) much credit. There will always be censorship outside of no-holds-barred war! However, the Geneva Convention(s) beginning in 1929 ruled war and censored even the killing and torture of mankind during all out warfare. Those of us that operate in families and communities have learned to self-censor ourselves. Govt censorship is generally EVIL. Big Tech and MSM censorship has become just as evil. But group rules apply there, too. We all want to change the things and ideas our controllers (Govt - Tech - MSM) censor. We want a complete 'censorship' change for the betterment of society. We need to develop our own censorship protocols to do just that (to change the system). I've seen many different iterations of mods on T_D. From time to time, the mods were gods. I loved them.
