I read the article. With the typical, 90% leftist bullshit we expect from NBC, there were a couple interesting, probable truths in it.

  1. None of the senior military advisors trapped PotUS and barked at him on the flight to Dover. He called them in to specifically discuss these issues.
  2. He asked for their advice. They gave it, and told him ultimately it's his decision.
  3. The Sec Nav rightfully told him that tweet isn't a command. If he wants to do it, it has to be a written order. This is a fact I support.

The only real insubordination I see is from reporters in how they are presenting these stories.

Sorry you're confused. Let me help you. It means that "familiar with his thinking" is a bullshit source... and then Spencer just came out and denied it publicly (Google it). "Military officials" could be anyone. Or no one. That's how they do it. It really do be like that. They fabricate sources and stories.
